Description
A teenage girl in 1890s Chicago awakens in the middle of the night to find her family eviscerated by hulking shapes in the dark. She manages to banish them using some sort of strange mystical power inside of her… but is left with nothing but questions about who, how, and why this happened. Guide her on her journey as she seeks to uncover the conspiracy of the supernatural powers running the city, why her family was brutalized, and exactly what is happening to her and her newfound abilities!
A prequel to the popular noir series The Dresden Files, this top down, open-ended, 2D stealth game features a strong narrative drive that presents players with puzzles to figure out how to use the magical powers blossoming within. The game introduces characters and lore which further the mystery, establishing the foundations of the world later inhabited by Harry Dresden 100 years later.
Made using Godot, Uncover features accessibility for players new to gaming as well as challenges for experienced gamers to enjoy. If you’re looking for a new game which lets you experiment with abilities to maximize your skill set and allows you to sleuth out a deep reaching conspiracy touching all areas of the city, look no further than Uncover!
